About The Instructor:

Shilpa Das is a comedian/actor/writer based in Los Angeles. She has been a performer at UCB for several years as an improviser, sketch writer, and musical improviser. Currently she is an actor/writer in the UCB company, Quick & Funny Musicals. Shilpa is the producer and co-host of the South Asian AF show, LA’s largest South Asian variety comedy show, which has enjoyed a sold out run since 2018. Shilpa has performed stand up at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, and Flappers, in addition to lots of questionable locations all around LA. She can be found holding down her day job, doing comedy around town, or on the sunken middle cushion of her couch where she nurtures her inner undercover introvert. theshilpadas.com
