Improv Openings Workshop

About This Workshop:
This two hour improv workshop will focus on building fun, detailed openings for long form sets. Players will work on discovering clear ideas and presenting strong, initiations to kick start a successful improvised comedic scene.
Prerequisite: One level of improv experience
About The Instructor:
Allyn Pintal is a writer and performer living in Los Angeles. She was born in the Philippines and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She co-hosts/co-produces the comedy variety show, Filipino AF, which has performed at UCB, San Francisco Sketchfest, and the Hawaii Comedy Festival. She can be found performing at the UCB theater in LA with her newly-graduated team Bitchin’. Her sketch collaborations with Wong Fu Productions can be found on their YouTube channel. She was also featured on the D&D podcast “Earwolf Presents: Dragons AF.”
Entrance:
Participants must enter the museum’s MAIN ENTRANCE on Beretania Street. Show your tickets to the attendant in the front, who will direct you to the Doris Duke Theatre.

Street or parking is available behind the Honolulu Museum of Art School – 1111 Victoria Street.
$5 for the first 5 hours. $2 for every additional 30 minutes. CASH ONLY.
