Thank you for your interest in the Hawai’i Comedy Festival! We’re excited to welcome writers who want to bring their creativity and humor to the stage.

The festival offers two ways to submit as a writer:

1) Musical Start-Up Team Writer – Work closely with a writing mentor and composer to develop an original musical script, which will be produced at the festival.
Musical submissions open: Friday, February 14th, 2025
Musical submissions close: Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, 11:59PM HST

2) Completed Comedy Sketch Submission – Submit a finished original comedy sketch for potential production at the festival.
